Art Therapy Prescription for a healthier, happier YOU!

Time to trade in your weekly therapy session for some local arts and culture events happening this weekend. Here at Pink Line HQ, we know that attending arts and culture events can improve your physical and mental health so we've specially selected weekend picks that are sure to get you out of the box, or should we say out of the cubicle, and feeling healthier and happier in no time.

Warning: The Pink Line Team can only help you so much without a full analysis of your condition. For more art therapy, please self medicate by checking out our calendar!

Music Pick of the Week from Hometown Sounds:

The fine folks at Indie Adams Morgan bring quality local music to Club Heaven every Thursday night, making Adams Morgan cool again. This week the Afrobeat ensemble The Funk Ark headlines, joined by jam band openers Buster Brown & The Get Down. Led by jazz keyboardist Will Rast, The Funk Ark features an amazing lineup of talented musicians playing seriously funky and infectuous grooves. Their recent album High Noon on ESL Recordings was one of Hometown Sounds top 10 albums of 2012. Buy your tickets at http://www.brownpapertickets.com/event/310618
