House Museums of DC: Tudor Place

Latest in the House & Garden tour of DC - the Tudor Place of Georgetown. I visited a couple weeks ago; beautiful house, and incredible gardens.

It served both as a home to multiple generations of families beginning at the turn of the 19th century, as well as a Union-boarded/Confederate-sympathetic boarding home during the Civil War. Yes - you read right. House rules: no war talk at the dinner table.

Very much open to the public; the bathroom in the visitor center features one of the original toilets from the property - 200 years old. You should, you know, go use it.
