In this episode, the Sarahs visit Peacocks and Peonies by John LaFarge. This incredibly detailed stained glass window, created for the private home of Frederick Lothrop Ames, is an impressive example of the opulence and craftsmanship of Gilded Age artists. You can visit the piece at the Smithsonian American Art Museum.
