Project Andini's web-based video room showcases Sang Hyun Lee

Sang Hyun Lee's "Symphony No.9 Dream Wander in Peach Blossom Paradise"
Project Andini is launching a very cool Video Archive to showcase a diverse selection of video art works. The first artist up? Sang Hyun Lee, a Korean media artist who has turned his use of media into video and photography since 2004. He is known to reveal hidden narratives and add new meaning to historical events through his artistic imagination.
In this Video Archive, Lee presents his recent work, "Symphony No.9 Dream Wander in Peach Blossom Paradise," which combines music from the New York Philharmonic concert in North Korea in 2008 with traditional Korean painting. The famous 15th century Korean painting has been arranged with animated American icons. In this way, Lee states that he wishes to express the relationship between the U.S. and North Korea in metaphorical and poetic avenues, through the two paradises of "peace and love."
Lee is currently participating at ISCP (International Studio and Curatorial program) in New York.
