Vacation Road Trip 2012 begins in less than 24 hours. As much as I've learned to tolerate, and even at times appreciate DC, I look forward to opportunities to get the fuck out. Have a rad week.

I've been on team My Morning Jacket since the first 4 track demo cassette Jim James mailed Darla Records in 1997. Great live version of Tyrone with Badu guesting.

Phosphorescent "Los Angeles"
Psych country slow burner from one of my favorite records of the last couple of years.

Halls "White Chalk"
Sparse and gorgeous with great production for late night listening.
