Windows Into DC @ The New Convention Center
by Elizabeth Ward

Children gather in front of the new Windows Into DC exhibit at the Convention Center for the ribbon cutting ceremony on Tuesday
Last Tuesday, the Washington Convention Center opened a DCCAH-sponsored art exhibition, Windows Into DC, that features only DC-based artists. The works will be featured in the Convention Center's ground floor, retail windows, so pedestrians and passing motorists will have the opportunity to view the work as they pass by. The installation gives the otherwise bland storefronts a more vibrant and colorful vibe!

Go check out the new exhibit and the cool local artists featured in it: Beth Baldwin, Jason Clark, Tim Conlon, Liani Foster, Amber Robles-Gordon, Eve Hennessa, Michael Dax Iacovone, Anne Marchand, Cory Oberndorfer, Michael Platt & Carol A. Beane, Kelly Towles, Aneikan Udofia, Colin Winterbottom and The New Community for Children.
The installation will be open through March 2010.
