Born in New York, Anne O'Rourke has lived in Dupont Circle for the past 30 years supporting and writing about the DC arts scene. With a background in nonprofit management and development, she's a freelance writer who specializes in arts, spirituality and personal development. She's worked with numerous publications and organizations in the US and Canada including Sojourners magazine and the American Architectural Foundation. Anne loves studying Buddhism, reading Thomas Hardy, eating the tuna carpaccio at Fiola, and visiting the Hirshhorn sculpture garden in the early morning.
