The Washington Sculptors Group (WSG) is pleased to announce the opening of Sculpture NOW 2011, its annual exhibition of sculpture presenting a view into the state of sculpture today. This year's exhibition, juried and curated by Tom Ashcraft, head of Sculpture at the School of Art, George Mason University, addresses a broad range of sculptural practices, attempting to make sense of traditional and new materials, forms, methods, and concerns of artists working in the region now. An exhibiting sculptor will be in attendance each day of this exhibition.

Artery Plaza Gallery, located in the midst of Bethesda's downtown restaurants and theaters, showcases a wide range of art and items from artists in the community, and events including art showings, exhibitions, poetry readings and more.
