Tattoos of Ships is a found phrase from a song and a muralesque installation that includes paintings on walls (tattoos), hung columns, cut photo pairings, piano roll monuments, collage/works on paper and a ship's bell. I am excited to have the opportunity to work in GMU's new Art Building and Gallery. I hope that you will have time to visit the exhibition or look at the photos enclosed. If you would like to visit the show between the openings and closing, I am happy to drive with you or meet you there on weekends, Mondays, Wednesdays or Thursdays.
