About This Event

Jacqueline Levine will draw on influences as divergent as Dutch painting and 80s movies to create a site-specific installation, The Temptation. Levine merges her interest in Hieronymous Bosch’s 15th century masterpiece, The Garden of Earthly Delights and the pop culture hit Honey, I Shrunk the Kids to create a mixed media environment. The installation will feature oversized focal points alongside lush and fantastic floor and wall-based works.

Jacqueline Levine will be giving a talk at the Smithsonian American Art Museum’s Luce Center on February 25 at 1:30 p.m.
