We will send the venue address to all who RSVP.\n\nMore about the Kickstarter in Jackie's word:\n\nHello\, my name is Jacqueline Levine. I believe that\n\nart is universal and it is the artist’s job to observe the\n\nchallenges that face us and counteract them with a\n\npositive outlook that speaks to the community at large.\n\nFor this project\, I wish to bring my art and its message\n\nto different cities throughout the United States. As\n\na society we have faced economic hardship\, political\n\ntension\, and devastating natural disaster. As a part\n\nof today’s youth I face these challenges myself; as an\n\nartist I seek solutions to personal happiness through\n\nmy work. I wish to remind the youth of today to remain\n\noptimistic and proud of their individual differences. It\n\nis these differences and a drive to be happy that will\n\npromote solutions to some of our most difficult societal\n\nissues. My work speaks to this--it is colorful\, bold and\n\nstrong. Each image is symbolic of an ongoing visual\n\nlanguage that celebrates individuality and a love for\n\nlife. The existence of this exhibition is an encouraging\n\nforce that I hope will lift the spirits of some who could\n\nuse a few colorful characters to brighten up their day.\n\nThis project is an expansion of a local pop up exhibition\n\nmodel that I have employed several times successfully\n\nin my native DC. For this campaign\, I will travel in\n\nan RV to select destination cities\, installing pop up\n\nexhibitions in each urban area. At each location\, a\n\ndeveloper will be contacted and space on lease will\n\nbe rented out for 3-4 days during which an opening\n\nand discussion panel about the show will be held for all\n\nattending members of the local community. The show\n\nwill contain paintings\, sculptures\, cartoon books and\n\nmerchandise on hand\, ready to distribute to members\n\nof the audience. Everyone who attends will be able to\n\nwalk out with some part of the work be it big or small.\n\nA website with information on dates and destination\n\ncities will be constructed prior to the project’s launch.\n\nThis project is ambitious\, and so is the cost. This is\n\nwhere I need your help. I hope that your support can\n\nmake this a reality. I have some amazing stuff I am\n\noffering in exchange and look forward to giving it to\n\nyou.
