About This Event

Trevor Young joins Civilian Art Projects for his first solo exhibition with the gallery opening April 9, 2010. "Premium" is an exhibition of new paintings by Young inspired by the sublime freedom of the open road and the romantic tension of travel. Utilizing familiar and new subject matter - gas stations illuminated by neon lights at night, sleeping travelers in waiting rooms, quiet laundromats, and cerulean landscapes dotted only by the saffron glow of headlights - Young demonstrates a strength of vision and passion for oil painting unprecedented in the D.C. area.
