About This Event

Workhouse Theatre presents Tony-Award winning play, The 39 Steps from May 18-July 1 in the W-3 Theater.

Mix Hitchcock with a dash of Monty Python and you have a hysterical whodunit! A mysterious woman appears in the life of a boring, ordinary man and they are soon caught in an international espionage ring. The non-stop laughs are provided by four actors who play more than 150 roles!

Ben Brantley wrote in The New York Times: "THEATER AT ITS FINEST... Absurdly enjoyable! This gleefully theatrical riff on Hitchcock's film is fast and frothy, performed by a cast of four that seems like a cast of thousands."

Performances: Friday and Saturday performances at 8pm, Sunday performances at 2pm.*
