Gloria Cheng is an avid performer and advocate for contemporary music who performs frequently with the L.A. Philharmonic.
Her program will include a John Cage piece in recognition of his 100th birth anniversary.
She has dozens of premieres and dedications to her credit from composers who include John Adams, Pierre Boulez, Terry Riley and Esa-Pekka Salonen.
Gloria Cheng is widely regarded as one of the pre-eminent pianists of contemporary works performing today.
