About This Event
JULY 14–OCTOBER 28
Please save the date for an opening reception with artist Charlotte Dumas to celebrate the newest exhibition in the NOW at the Corcoran series, Charlotte Dumas: Anima.
Charlotte Dumas travels the world making photographs of animals—evocative, formal portraits that draw upon the traditions of Dutch 17th-century Golden Age painting. Her first solo U.S. museum exhibition features a newly commissioned series showing the majestic burial horses of Arlington National Cemetery, as well as three earlier bodies of work.
