About This Event

Washington, DC (June 1, 2012) The Off-Rhode Studio at Art Enables will host local Outsider and Folk art dealer Grey Carter of Grey Carter Objects of Art Gallery in McLean Virginia. The show, called ‘Trust the Eye’, will open June 9, 2012 and will run for three weeks, closing June 29 2012. The opening on the June 9th runs from 1-4 will feature a talk with Carter regarding the collecting of Outsider and Folk art.

With over 40 years experience, Carter’s gallery showcases work that “offers special insight” from a variety of artists that are largely self-taught and contemporary folk and Outsider artists.

The Off Rhode Studio at Art Enables is a small gallery that features outsider, folk and emerging that complement the mission of Art Enables- a working studio for artists with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

The event is free and open to the public
