About This Event
Juno Brown in fact was born yesterday. The brand, the beauty and her band "The Mystical Situations" were established May 2011. The evolution of this artist is a journey unto itself, but for starters Juno Brown is the founder of the genre folkra. Folkra is a combination of folk-rock and opera.
Imagine running across Joni Mitchell in 1967 or Roberta Flack in ’72. How about Sheryl Crow in ’91 or Alanis in ’94 or Norah Jones or Alicia Keys before they’d been discovered, would you stop and listen? Legendary producer David Z (Prince, Jody Watley, Fine Young Cannibals, Angilque Kidjo, etc.) did. When he heard Juno Brown he was so impressed he immediately came on-board to produce Juno’s first release. (read more at http://junobrown.com/)

She represents the DC, MD, VA area as an award winning poet, songwriter, author and social media expert whose wisdom shines unafraid of truths many cannot face. Her vast topic range, widely controversial content, emotional subject matter and ability to teach life lessons in conversational tones makes her writing style one-of-a-kind. Shelly is an Arts Commissioner for the City of Alexandria, a member of Acoustic Rock Soul band, East of Beautiful and Director of Seven City Art Society, LLC.
Some call her a visionary, some call her a "firestarter." She responds: I AM SHELLY BELL, "REGRET NOTHING WRITE EVERYTHING™"
