About This Event
Rosabel Goodman-Everard, Studio Gallery's newest member, displays her many different talents, ranging from sculptures to paintings in her show
“(Un)seen (Un)known”. The art addresses the hidden worlds we carry inside us, where we respond to our fear of the unknown and to the moments when the earth caves in beneath our very feet. The artist's originality is shown in her theory of people drawing upon our hidden resources to convert helplessness into power; hence the title: (Un)seen, (Un)known.
The artist’s work begins with the representation, goes beyond it and enters into a new iconography of heightened experiences... the irrational versus the rational. Due to the losing of a sense of place, Goodman-Everard gains the insight that people are essentially the same underneath the very different ways they behave and express themselves.
