About This Event
Friday, 07.06.12 1:00-4:00PM
Imagine the light and sound board in the control booth: switches, sliders and buttons – all packed with so much power and potential. Do you feel dizzy? Daunted by the array of potential mishaps? Thrilled at the chance to unleash your creative potential? Whether you’re looking for pointers from a pro, to refresh your skills or just want to turn on the house lights, CulturalDC’s resident tech guru, Robert Gandy, can help!
In this FREE, hands-on workshop you’ll learn the nuts-and-bolts of lights and sound, including plug-in and basic board operation. And for those who rent space at Source, this is a great opportunity to learn how to make the boards work for you, and learn the nuances of the equipment.
Space is limited and the workshop will be capped at eight people so please RSVP early!
