About This Event

Hannah Phelps took 1st Place in last year’s National Small Works Exhibition juried by Robert Newman, owner and director of the Old Print Shop, New York, NY. Her resulting solo exhibition includes white-line woodcuts, jigsaw woodcuts, and the paintings done in situ that inspired them. Hannah says these works are about more than the traditional landscape idea of “capturing a moment in time” but rather capturing all the moments of the places depicted—most often beloved spots she has been visiting her entire life. These spots include the coast of Maine and other natural areas of New England.
