About This Event
MULTIVERSE
Whereas science deals in the search for fundamental truth, art deals in imagination. Albert Einstein captured these sentiments in his essay on “The World As I See It” saying The most beautiful experience we can have is the mysterious. It is the fundamental emotion that stands at the cradle of true art and true science. For me, one of the most fascinating of scientific mysteries is the concept of parallel universes; the idea that there are an infinite collection of existences sharing every common likeness, memory, and perception of reality as you.
I create abstract/contemporary works. I use mixed media to produce a range of effects on canvas and panel. I look for the abstract in people and nature. I am interested in human interactions and how we relate to the universe. In this body of work I explore the mystery and intrigue of a multiverse — the hypothetical set of multiple possible universes that collectively comprise everything that exists and can exist.
