About This Event
SPACIOUS invites you to our second Blank Canvas Day! Through games, conversation, facilitation, and various artistic processes, we'll explore our inner artists, do away with misperceptions that we "aren't creative," and engage -- gasp! -- a blank canvas.
Led by DC-based artist Lisa Shirk and SPACIOUS' Cary Umhau and Joey Katona, Blank Canvas Day will start at 11:00 am. We'll enjoy lunch together (prepared by Rebecca Hook of Food and Fete). And we'll create, imagine and have fun until 3:00 pm.
Once again, we are partnering with BloomBars, whose mission of "inspiring communities through the artists, nurturing artists serving the community," makes them an ideal partner for this event and for SPACIOUS. Bloombars is metro accessible (Columbia Heights, green/yellow), and there is plenty of street parking in the neighborhood.
We're excited to offer this event to a small group of people for a more intimate environment. We sold out in January, so get your tickets now!
