Borek Sipek, the renowned designer, artist and architect who served as the court architect of the Czech Republic while his friend, Vaclav Havel was the country's president, opens his baroque soirée at Industry Gallery at 1358 Florida Avenue, NE Washington, DC at a special opening event on Saturday, September 8th, 2012 from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m.
The soirée will also launch the Embassy of the Czech Republic's Mutual Inspirations Festival 2012: Milos Forman, celebrating Oscar-winning, Czech-American director Milos Forman's 80th birthday and work, the best of Czech cinematography, and the accomplishments of the transatlantic film industry. www.mutualinspirations.org.
