EMP Collective's Genesis at The Fridge's FRESH PRODUCE

About This Event

On August 24, 7 - 10pm, EMP will present Genesis, a multimedia theatre piece about storytelling and the creation and destruction of one’s own world inspired by author Eduardo Galeano’s look at creation myths and origin narratives of pre-Columbian Latin America.

EMP and The Fridge are partnering to inspire an artist exchange between DC and Baltimore. Selected stories have been recorded using actors from Baltimore and DC, and artists from all disciplines, from both cities will select a story to listen to and create a piece inspired by it. The resulting works will be played out at The Fridge space in DC and EMP’s art space in Baltimore (8/17).
