The Taffety Punk Generator presents a reading of

SOMERSAULTING
a new play by Liz Maestri

Based on the graphic novel by Sammy Harkham

An adaptation of Sammy Harkham's 3-color comic from Drawn & Quarterly Showcase #3, SOMERSAULTING follows best friends Iris and Edie during a long summer before their senior year of high school. Set in a run-down beach town, this is a story of a droning summer spotted with the girls' discoveries of death, love, and sex, propelling them both into adulthood.

Featuring Taffety Punk company members Marcus Kyd, Joel David Santner, Tonya Beckman, and Esther Williamson, with Rana Kay and James Flanagan.

Directed by Elissa Goetschius
