About This Event
Journey to the Sultan’s Gardens for PM @ The TM: "Beauty and the East". Celebrating the opening of our new exhibition, The Sultan’s Garden: The Blossoming of Ottoman Art, we are throwing a fête in our own unique gardens. Sip a drink and enjoy food by Mie n Yu Restaurant, while listening to the Django jazz of Hot Club of DC and lounging in a fabulous fabric tent custom-designed by Morgan West of PandaHead. Move inside the museum to enjoy the floral textiles of the Ottoman Empire in a gallery tour of The Sultan’s Garden, and make your own fabric corsage. Bohemian gorgeous dress is encouraged. This event is supported by Culturadar. Beauty and the East is an event of Turkish Cultural Heritage Month, organized by the American-Turkish Association of Washington, D.C. Fee: $15 (includes one complimentary beer or wine).
