About This Event
Stories on Stage, Presented by Barrelhouse Magazine
Episode One: All in a Day's Work--Dispatches from the Office
A corporation where junior executives settle disputes with pistols at ten paces. A nonprofit organization where an employee suspects her boss is a mythical, blood-sucking demon.
These are the settings for the stories in the first edition of Stories on Stage, a new reading series presented by Barrelhouse. Stories on Stage features DC-based actors reading selections from recent editions of Barrelhouse in front of a live audience.
The premiere of the series features stories that take place in a location familiar to most Washingtonians: the office.
