About This Event

HEMPHILL is pleased to participate in the National Symphony Orchestra's NSO In Your Neighborhood 2013 programming. The National Symphony Orchestra is making U Street, Howard University, Shaw, and Logan Circle the focus of its free community engagement activities in January 2013. Between January 8 and 14, members of the NSO are breaking into small ensembles to perform chamber music and educational activities at the locations of approximately 20 community partners.

Featuring NSO musicians William Wielgus, oboe, and Carole Bean, flute.
Q&A with the musicians will follow the performance.
