About This Event

Sitar Arts Center is proud to feature the artwork of war veterans from the DC Veterns Affairs Medical Center. These amazing men, who have served in a sweep of military conflicts, including the Gulf War, the Vietnam War, the Korean War, and World War II, meet on a weekly basis to create art, a creative outlet for that provides them with camaraderie and the opportunity for artistic growth. Artist, leader, and teacher Christina Charba will offer a printmaking demonstration with some of the Veteran artists, Bailey, Scotty, James, Melvin, Llyod, Phil, Jerry and John from the Wednesday Veterans Alumni Group at DC VA Medical Center.
