Opening: Flesh and Flora

About This Event

Gallery Frame Avenue is excited to present Edwin Hirschfield's new series of original photographs, with the opening of FLESH and FLORA. This body of work features a collection of large nudes, as well as images from a series called "Reeds." Each of these collections features Hirshfield's original, unique way in manipulating the camera and the image.

Both series are created using traditional photographic methods - film and darkroom. The combination of methods and technique create a timeless feel to the photographs, obviously contemporary but also appearing as if they could have been created a century ago.
