DESCRIPTION:Gallery Frame Avenue is excited to present Edwin Hirschfield's new series of original photographs\, with the opening of FLESH and FLORA. This body of work features a collection of large nudes\, as well as images from a series called "Reeds." Each of these collections features Hirshfield's original\, unique way in manipulating the camera and the image. \n\nBoth series are created using traditional photographic methods - film and darkroom. The combination of methods and technique create a timeless feel to the photographs\, obviously contemporary but also appearing as if they could have been created a century ago.
