About This Event
In Lunar Bower, panels of fabric are sewn together and stretched across the café, suggesting the ethereal night skies in Albert Pinkham Ryder’s paintings. Light is given a corporeal presence as it filters through the hanging sculpture.
The museum is closed on Mondays, including July 4.
The museum commemorates its 90th anniversary in 2011 with a yearlong celebration, 90 Years of New. Special programs are noted.
Weekends: $12 for adults, $10 for visitors 62 and over and students, free for members and visitors 18 and under; weekdays by donation.
