Audiences seeking a night of fun, games and true stories should come on down to Dance Place when SpeakeasyDC presents SpeakeasyDC’s Story Showdown: A Storytelling Game Show.  Host Rob Parker (Kevin Boggs) will be the Master of Ceremonies once again for this a highly interactive, ridiculously fun night of competition comprised of autobiographical stories and audience participation. Where: US Navy Memorial Heritage Center; 701 Pennsylvania Ave, NW

Eight filmmaking teams have only 5 days to write, shoot, edit—and screen a film based on stories from eight local storytellers. The kicker: none of the teams have heard the stories before they are presented.
