Human Landscape Dance and Anne-Marie Mulgrew and Dancers Company present The Washington DC/Philadelphia Exchange featuring two companies, two visions and two cities. The program includes works choreographed by the two artistic directors: Malcolm Shute (HLD) and Anne-Marie Mulgrew (AMM & DCO).

Features the human side of two Greek myths:

Icarus and The Odyssey. Icarus, played by Amanda Abrams, the dancer and dance writer, climbs upon the shoulders and backs of Daedalus (played by three dancers), to achieve flight. It is a story about parents and children and the weight of family relationships.

Penelope and Odysseus, played by Abrams and Alex Short, spend their first night together, after their 20-year estrangement, fighting over the sheet.
