Though Blake Gopnik has left DC after years as a Washington post art critic, skin color in art shown in DC has captured his attention again. This time, he thinks the new MLK sculpture looks too caucasion because it's carved from pink stone. He previously had some thoughts about skin color when he reviewed Rothko's Black Paintings that hung at the National Gallery of Art last year. What do you think?
